In the mailbox a touching mail…
Dear Leon, could you please make us a special candle? We just lost our brother, we are having a hard time in having to accept he is not coming home to us anymore. He was so full of life, of energy. He was our sunshine, in every way. He always showed us there’s a light in the darkness. And now, we have to live our lives without him. Since he was our light, we want to have light lit during his funeral. Could you please make a special candle for him? For us?
Touched, Leon contacted the family. What can be done, what can’t be done? What were his favorite colours, what was his passion? Hours of work, on time for the funeral…
This candle, just a little detail, brought the light they needed. And, now on every special day, his candle is lit. It is giving the family time to process their grief.
After this first one, sometimes you do not exactly know how things develop, Leon got more and more of these requests. It seems there is a hidden desire to make life events, deaths but also births and marriages, as personal as can be.
